The Mass Effect Reunion Cast
This year’s PGX is bringing together some of the most beloved voices from the Mass Effect trilogy. Fans will get the rare opportunity to meet the actors who gave life to Shepard’s allies, enemies, and enigmatic synthetics.
D.C. Douglas – Legion
You know him as the voice of the synthetic intelligence Legion in Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3, a role that fused philosophical depth with deadpan humor. Outside of the galaxy, Douglas has left his mark in Resident Evil as Albert Wesker and in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure as Yoshikage Kira. Expect wit, charm, and maybe even a “Does this unit have a soul?” moment during panels.
Mark Meer – Commander Shepard
The man behind the original male Commander Shepard, Meer has voiced countless lines that shaped how players approached every mission. Beyond Mass Effect, his resume spans comedy, improv, and voice work across games and animation. At PGX, he’ll be the captain on deck.
Courtenay Taylor – Jack
A powerhouse in gaming and animation, Taylor brought Jack’s rebellious, tattooed powerhouse energy to life in Mass Effect 2 and 3. She’s also known for Fallout 4 (as the female Sole Survivor) and Resident Evil 6. Expect passionate stories, unfiltered honesty, and plenty of laughs from her panels.
Ash Sroka – Tali’Zorah
Sroka gave voice to one of the trilogy’s most beloved companions, the brilliant and loyal Quarian engineer Tali’Zorah. Her performance helped make Tali a fan-favorite romance option and a cornerstone of Shepard’s team. Fans can look forward to heartfelt insights and fan appreciation moments.
Ali Hillis – Liara T’Soni
The Asari scientist who captured Shepard’s heart for many players was brought to life by Hillis, whose nuanced performance made Liara an unforgettable presence across the series. Outside of Mass Effect, Hillis has appeared in Final Fantasy XIII as Lightning and countless television and film roles. She brings elegance and insight to every appearance.
What Fans Can Expect
The Mass Effect reunion isn’t just about autograph lines (though, yes, you’ll want those too). Fans can anticipate:
- Live panels with the cast reflecting on their time in the Mass Effect universe
- Photo ops to immortalize your trip to the Citadel (well, Monroeville)
- Merchandise, cosplay showcases, and a community of fellow fans ready to debate Paragon versus Renegade until closing time
How to Attend
Tickets and information are available directly from the official PGX website. The Monroeville Convention Center offers free parking and easy access from Pittsburgh via I-376 East, Exit 80 toward William Penn Highway (Business 22). Hotels and dining options nearby make it simple to turn your fandom into a full weekend getaway.
Why This Matters
Reunions of this caliber don’t happen often. Mass Effect remains one of the most acclaimed video game series of all time, celebrated for its branching narratives, deep character relationships, and unforgettable performances. With Douglas, Meer, Taylor, Sroka, and Hillis in one place, this is as close as fans get to boarding the Normandy in real life.
