The Voice of Albert Wesker 2007-2019

The Voice of Albert Wesker 2007-2019

Albert Wesker: My Viral Legacy

After six years of procrastination (thanks, Covid and Trump!), I’ve finally compiled a two-minute video chronicling my journey as the voice of Albert Wesker. This one’s for the fans who’ve asked, “Wait, which games did you do again?” With six different Wesker voice actors out there, it’s time to set the record straight.

Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles (2007)

Plot: A rail shooter revisiting key events from Resident Evil 0, 1, and 3, culminating in the downfall of the Umbrella Corporation. Wesker narrates and reveals hidden truths behind the chaos.
Memory: Landed this gig through a random audition at Cup of Tea Productions in Burbank. Sometimes, spontaneity pays off!

Resident Evil 5 (2009)

Plot: Chris Redfield and Sheva Alomar battle bioterrorism in Africa, confronting Wesker’s plan to unleash the Uroboros virus and achieve global domination.
Memory: Rueben Langdon championed me for this role. Despite a thrown-out back preventing me from doing mo-cap (shoutout to Ken Lally), I handled face-cap and VO, directed by the ever-sweet Liam O’Brien.

Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles (2009)

Plot: A retelling of Resident Evil 2 and Code: Veronica through Leon S. Kennedy and Jack Krauser’s perspectives, delving into personal stories and tragedies.
Memory: A swift pick-up session with Liam. In and out in an hour—efficiency at its finest!

Resident Evil 5: Lost in Nightmares (2010)

Plot: A flashback mission where Chris and Jill explore Spencer’s mansion, uncovering dark secrets and confronting Wesker in a chilling homage to the original game.
Memory: Feels like this was part of the original RE5 session. Time blurs when you’re battling bio-organic weapons.

Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (2011)

Plot: Wesker joins forces with Marvel villains to conquer both universes, showcasing his superhuman abilities in this crossover fighting game.
Memory: Had no idea what a fighting game was until this session. Taliesin Jaffe directed me—what a hoot!

Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D (2011)

Plot: A high-score-focused arcade game where players defeat as many enemies as possible within a time limit, featuring stages from RE4 and RE5.
Memory: Another quick session—30 minutes tops. Can’t recall where or who, but it was somewhere in the valley. Lol.

The Notorious Albert Wesker Erotic Fanfic Show (2012)

Plot: A live show born from a fan’s request to read a naughty fanfic passage, evolving into a two-hour performance filled with humor and fan interaction.
Memory: Started with a fan’s request at a Maryland con. By 2021, it had grown into a full-blown show! You can watch it here.

Apocalypse Kiss (2014)

Plot: In a dystopian future, a serial killer with OCD fights for media attention as two nomadic lovers steal his spotlight, leading to a deadly confrontation.
Memory: Roxy Tyler, a Facebook fan, invited me to join her film. Six months later, I was dyeing my hair and doing push-ups! You can see clips here.

Resident Evil: Revelations 2 (2015)

Plot: Claire Redfield and Moira Burton are kidnapped and awaken in a mysterious facility. They must uncover who took them and why, facing twisted experiments along the way.
Memory: Recorded a hilarious sibling rivalry scene with Alex Wesker. Sadly, it didn’t make the final cut.

Z Nation (2016)

Plot: A group of survivors escorts the only known zombie bite survivor across a post-apocalyptic America, aiming to develop a vaccine from his blood.
Memory: While pitching a film to The Asylum, they realized my Resident Evil background made me a perfect fit for their zombie show. Resulted in three fun episodes!

Isle of the Dead (2016)

Plot: A zombie outbreak on a remote island leads to chaos as survivors fight for their lives, uncovering dark secrets along the way.
Memory: Initially pitched as a Resident Evil homage, but the director change led to a different vision. The RE easter eggs were sadly stripped out. But I do get to chomp on flesh some.

Resident Evil: Umbrella Corps (2016)

Plot: A multiplayer shooter set after the fall of Umbrella, where players engage in intense battles using experimental weapons and gear.
Memory: Voiced “The Player” and some Wesker lines, including a monologue about rumors of my demise. Once again, it didn’t make the final cut.

Teppen (2019)

Plot: A digital collectible card game where Capcom characters battle in real-time to reach the Land of Illusion, facing various challenges and foes.
Memory: Confused AF during this session. It’s a card game… but online? WTF?

DC Douglas and Albert Wesker

And that’s a wrap! Capcom moved on, and I ventured into the Star Wars universe. Somewhere in that timeline are also two pachinko games, but I couldn’t find any videos of them. There were also many parody and fan service videos along the way. You can watch those here.

As I say in the video, thanks for the ride of a lifetime!
